Igor Butman Jazz Club Saint Petersburg
The Igor Butman Jazz Club in Saint Petersburg opened its doors on October 1, 2022—the historic centennial of Russian jazz. This opening marked a grand new chapter for both the legendary Moscow-born brand and the vibrant jazz scene of Russia’s cultural capital.
The Venue
The Club is housed within the historic 18th-century Service Building of the Imperial Court Stables. The interior design—featuring whitewashed brick vaults, polished brass accents, and warm wood—creates a sophisticated and inimitable atmosphere. With a seating capacity of over 250 guests, it stands as one of the largest jazz clubs in the world while miraculously preserving the intimate «chamber» connection between the audience and the stage.
The Program
Our lineup is a curated synthesis of the finest names in Russian and international jazz. The stage hosts masters of swing, mainstream, fusion, and avant-garde original projects. The venue regularly features the Igor Butman Quartet, alongside international touring artists, prestigious festival programs, and exclusive musical galas.
Gastronomy
The Club’s kitchen is led by Chef Evgeny Asaula, renowned for his commitment to local ingredients and his flair for blending tradition with a modern, signature touch. The menu features farm-to-table meats, the freshest seafood, and seasonal vegetables. From delicate scallops in refined sauces to succulent beef and desserts inspired by European and Russian culinary heritage, every dish is designed to be the perfect accompaniment to the evening’s main attraction: world-class live jazz.
Dress Code
To maintain the atmosphere of an elegant musical evening, the Igor Butman Jazz Club observes a dress code. We kindly ask our guests to refrain from wearing sportswear or beachwear. Please note that shorts are not permitted, including during the summer season.
