Oleg Akkuratov Trio

Pianist and vocalist Oleg Akkuratov is a unique, world-class talent and a laureate of numerous international competitions. His artistry has reached an audience of hundreds of millions worldwide, most notably in March 2014, when his performance served as the emotional grand finale of the Paralympic Games Closing Ceremony in Sochi.

Oleg’s career is defined by an extraordinary string of victories in both classical and jazz competitions. From regional contests to the International «Philanthropist» Award and the All-Russian «Piano in Jazz» Competition in Moscow, Oleg has consistently claimed first prizes and Grand Prix honors.

In 2013, Oleg became the breakout sensation of the Triumph of Jazz festival. Music critic Boris Barabanov of Kommersant wrote of his performance:

«He demonstrated exceptional skill in both jazz improvisation and classical repertoire, perfectly complementing the ensemble with tasteful scat, beatboxing, and stunning a cappella vocals.»

As a key participant in Igor Butman’s international project, «The Future of Jazz,» Oleg has performed alongside global stars such as bassist Kate Davis, drummer Mark Whitfield, and saxophonist Francesco Cafiso. He has graced the stages of prestigious festivals including Chereshnevy Les and Sochi Jazz Festival. In August 2016, Oleg and his Trio delivered a masterful performance at the inaugural Skolkovo Jazz Festival.

Today, the Oleg Akkuratov Trio continues to push the boundaries of the genre, blending technical perfection with a heartfelt, improvisational spirit that resonates with audiences across the globe.
